International Research Publishing Group

Practical, principled, and publication-ready — everything you need to prepare and submit manuscripts under the IRPG imprint.

Quick guidance

Welcome. This page gathers author instructions for all journals published by International Research Publishing Group. Individual journals will publish journal-specific Aims & Scope and any additional preparation rules on their own landing pages. Read these publisher-level instructions carefully before submitting.

Author Guidelines

Authors must submit original, unpublished work not under consideration elsewhere. Submit one corresponding author contact, ORCID iDs for all authors (recommended), a clear funding statement, and ethics approvals where applicable. Submissions must follow the manuscript structure (Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgements, References) and include a cover letter. (See Publication Ethics & Misconduct · Policies & Statements)

Manuscript Preparation & Templates

Use our templates and follow these formatting rules:

Manuscript file (primary)

  1. Editable file: .docx (preferred).
  2. Title page (separate): manuscript title; all authors’ full names; affiliations; emails; ORCID iDs; corresponding author with full contact details.
  3. Abstract: 150–300 words (structured where applicable: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion).
  4. Keywords: 3–8, comma-separated.
  5. Main text: use clear section headings; use SI units where applicable.
  6. Figures: submit high-resolution originals (TIFF preferred for production, PNG/JPEG accepted for review). Label all figures (Fig 1, Fig 2…) and provide captions beneath.
  7. Tables: editable (do not paste as images). Include titles and footnotes.
  8. Supplementary materials: ZIP or single files; include README with contents.

File naming conventions

  1. Manuscript: MANUSCRIPT_Title.docx
  2. Figures: Fig1.tif, Fig2.tif, etc.
  3. Supplementary: SUPPL_FileDescription.zip

Copyright & Licensing (Creative Commons / License Types)

IRPG publishes under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) unless a journal specifies otherwise.

Key points of CC BY 4.0:

  1. Authors retain copyright.
  2. Users may copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially, provided appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and source.
  3. A machine-readable license statement and human-readable summary are added to each article landing page and PDF.

Full license text and FAQ are linked on Open Access and Legal & Administrative pages. (See Open Access)

Copyright Transfer / Publishing Agreement

IRPG does not require transfer of copyright. Instead, authors sign a Publishing Agreement at acceptance by which they:

  1. Confirm they are the copyright holders (or have rights to publish).
  2. Grant IRPG a non-exclusive, perpetual license to publish, distribute, and deposit the article and associated metadata (DOI, XML) in indexes and repositories.
  3. Agree to publication under CC BY 4.0 (default) and to metadata deposits with Crossref and archiving services.

This agreement will be completed in the submission system at acceptance (see Submit Manuscript).

Article Processing Charges (APC) & Payment Instructions

APC (standard): USD 200 — payable upon acceptance. The APC covers editorial handling, DOI registration, online hosting, and long-term preservation.

Payment workflow

  1. Invoice issued upon acceptance to the corresponding author’s email.
  2. Invoice will include payment reference (manuscript ID) and payment methods.
  3. Accepted payment methods: bank transfer (SWIFT for international authors), credit/debit card via secure payment gateway, and PayPal (where available). Exact payment options and bank details are provided on the invoice.
  4. Publication is scheduled after payment clearance and final proofs approval.

Note: Payment details and merchant/provider configuration are handled by the publisher. For institutional arrangements (invoicing to funders or institutions) contact publisher billing: contact@irpublishinggroup.com before payment if needed.

APC Waiver & Discounts Policy

IRPG supports equitable access. Waivers and discounts are available on a case-by-case basis. Key points:

  1. Standard APC: USD 200 (applies unless a waiver is granted).
  2. Full waivers: may be granted for authors with demonstrable financial hardship, authors based in low-income and lower-middle-income economies, or for invited contributions.
  3. Partial waivers: may be granted on merit and need.

How to request a waiver

  1. During submission select Waiver request and provide justification and supporting documents (e.g., institutional letter, proof of country status, funder restrictions). (See Submit Manuscript field: Waiver justification + supporting document)
  2. Waiver requests are reviewed before publication decisions are finalized; authors will be informed of outcome before invoice is issued.
  3. Applicants are encouraged to request waivers at submission (not after acceptance) to avoid delays.

For policy details and country lists, see publisher guidance and contact at contact@irpublishinggroup.com.

Peer Review & Editorial Decisions

All manuscripts are screened for scope, ethics, and similarity before peer review. IRPG supports different peer review models (single-blind, double-blind, or open) — the chosen model is indicated on the target journal page. Typical editorial workflow:

  • Initial editorial check (scope, ethics, completeness).
  • Similarity check (plagiarism screening).
  • External peer review (minimum two independent reviewers).
  • Revision(s) and resubmission.
  • Final decision by Editor-in-Chief.

Reviewers are asked to follow our reviewer guidelines (See For Reviewers). Authors can appeal decisions per the Complaints & Appeals Procedure. (See Peer Review · Publication Ethics & Misconduct)

Ethics, Authorship & Conflicts

Ethical compliance

  1. Human/animal research requires documented ethics approval and informed consent statements. Include committee name and approval number in the manuscript. (See Policies & Statements → Human Subjects / Animal Ethics Policy)
  2. All submissions undergo similarity screening; suspected misconduct will be handled per COPE guidelines. (See Publication Ethics & Misconduct)

Authorship criteria & contributions

  1. Authors should meet common authorship criteria (substantial contribution to conception/design, drafting/revising, final approval, and accountability). Provide an author contributions statement (CRediT taxonomy recommended: Conceptualization; Data curation; Formal analysis; Funding acquisition; Investigation; Methodology; Project administration; Writing – original draft; Writing – review & editing).
  2. Any change to authorship after submission requires written consent from all authors and Editor approval.

Conflicts of interest

  • All authors must disclose financial and non-financial conflicts in the submission form and on the title page.

Data Availability, Reproducibility & Supplementary Materials

Data policy

  1. Authors must include a Data Availability Statement describing where data supporting the article are deposited (repository name and DOI) or provide reasons for restricted access. (See Policies & Statements → Data Availability & Research Data Policy)
  2. Encourage deposition of datasets in recognized repositories (Zenodo, Figshare, Dryad, institutional repositories).

Supplementary materials

  • Submit supplementary files through the submission form; indicate file types and provide a short descriptor. Large datasets should be deposited in external repositories and linked with DOIs.

References & Citation Style

Reference requirements

  • Use a consistent citation style across the manuscript and include DOIs where available. Provide full bibliographic details for every work cited.

Suggested default (publisher)

  • Numbered Vancouver style (1, 2, 3…) is preferred for STEM journals. Example:
    • Journal article: Smith J, Patel R. Title of paper. J Example Res. 2020;12(3):123–9. doi:10.xxxx/xxxxx.
    • Book: Brown K. Title of Book. 2nd ed. City: Publisher; 2018.
  • For social science journals, the Editor may permit APA 7th edition (author-date). Check the target journal page.

Authors must ensure references are accurate and complete.

Production & Proofs

After acceptance and APC clearance:

  1. Manuscript enters production (copyediting, typesetting).
  2. Authors receive proofs for final review (typically one round). Approve proofs promptly to avoid publication delays.
  3. Final files include PDF and metadata for indexers.

Post-publication

  1. DOI assigned and Crossref metadata deposited at publication.
  2. Corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions are handled per our Publication Ethics & Misconduct policies and are prominently displayed on the article page. (See Publication Ethics & Misconduct)
  3. Authors are encouraged to link datasets and ORCID profiles to increase discoverability.

Cover letter

Title of manuscript:
