Abstract

This research aims to study the impact of financial technology on the development of the banking sector, through an analysis of both theoretical and applied aspects. The theoretical aspect addresses the definition of financial technology, its development, and its most prominent tools, such as digital banking services, e-wallets, artificial intelligence technologies, and blockchain. The results and analysis reveal an improvement in service quality, a reduction in operating costs, and an increase in customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the use of financial technology has accelerated banking operations and expanded the customer base, particularly among previously underserved groups. Thus, financial technology has become a fundamental pillar in modernizing the banking sector. The study recommends the need for continued investment in digital infrastructure, human resource development, and strengthening partnerships between banks and financial technology companies to achieve integration and innovation.
Keywords: financial technology, banking sector, e-wallets, artificial intelligence.
